Jesse Helms died...Isn't that redundant?

Unfortunately, no. Almost every other day I encounter people with Jesse's mindset, who would happily delegate myself and all the people I care about to their version of Hell, simply because we are not their kind.

Even still, I don't wish Hell for Jesse. Don't get me wrong, I've got a hankering for revenge as much as anyone who lived during Jesse's era. But dishing out revenge for my personal satisfaction would make me no better than he or his ilk.

If I believed in reincarnation or spiritual justice, I would rather that Jesse return as someone he wouldn't have wanted to be. And I'd wish him to be happy. There's already too much pain in the world.
